IO challenge Black and White

This week's Impression Obsession challenge was to create a black and white card.  I had this stamped image of the beach scene so I decided to work with this.  It's called officially 'A Day at the Beach' and it's item # H1743 on the IO website.   I only added a very pale shade of light brown to the beach and all the rest is black and white.  It's clean and simple but actually works quite well.  Can you see the stitching in the sand on the lower left side?  I'm sure you noticed the black pearls on the lower right.  It top mat layer is raised up to give some texture and the black and white polka dot paper adds a little something as well.  Inside it will say 'relax it's your day.'  This will make a good birthday card for someone with a summer birthday.

Really nice! I like this beach scene stamp. It looks good in black and white with just the sand colored! I also like the stitching! Thank you for sharing!

Wow, Linda! How really lovely. Who would have known a beach scene would be this beautiful with the black enhancement. I really like what youdid with the pearls along the bottom too. It's a great card with a great sentiment. I love the black and sand. The stamp is fantastic.......
