Papertrey anniversary - stamp that hasn't seen ink

This challenge was to make a card using a stamp set that hasn't seen ink.  I discovered that my background herringbone set had never been used.  Gasp!  How could that be?  It's beautiful.  It's trendy and it's sat in the stamp bin for over a year unused.

Thanks for visiting today.  Make it a great one.

Why were you saving that stamp set? You've done a beautiful card with it, and I love the summer sun and dark blu together.

A stamp that has never been inked?? Do I have any of those??? (Oh, oh...)

Love your herring bone background for the matted focal piece. Great colors, too!

I love the way you have used the herringbone along with All Booked Up. The colors are wonderful. I am in central NJ and just took my boys to the bus stop. It is -7 here. I too am longing for spring. I can't fathom the amount of snow that has fallen in your area. We've had many snow events, but not with the accumulation you have. I heard birds chirping in the mornings lately... hopefully that is a good sign.
